(video) LDPM commemorated a decade since the terrorist attacks happened in the U.S.

Today, September 11th, the President of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, deputies and party members laid flowers and lit candles at the U.S. Embassy to Moldova, in memory of over 2,700 victims of terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center towers in New York.

"It is a sad date, a tragic event not only for the American people, but for the whole world. Terrorism has no borders. We express our solidarity with the American people and we will not ever forget what happened. But even more important is to not allow such dramatic situations to happen again", Vlad Filat stated.

After holding a moment of silence, Vlad Filat discussed with the representatives of U.S. Embassy in Chisinau and expressed condolences to the American people on his personal behalf and on behalf of the Moldovan Government.

Vlad Filat said that the U.S. has always been an honest partner for Moldova and the provided aid and assistance are essential for our country.
