The LDPM President, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, gave a speech in front of the deputies, noting that within two and a half years, the Alliance for European Integration worked constructively for Moldova's development, building a necessary foundation in order to transform Moldova from an isolated country in the international arena to one surrounded by friends.
Vlad Filat said that, however, political instability has affected the country's government and that people's expectations from the presidential elections are very high.
"We need stability and peace to succeed. And I'm sure we will succeed", Vlad Filat stated from the central tribune of the Parliament.
At the same time, Vlad Filat said that after the presidential elections, the biggest challenge starts.
"We are facing a new beginning, which may have a purpose for Moldovan citizens. We should act fast, so that we have a consolidated society for the next parliamentary elections. On this day, we really need God to help us", the LDPM President added.
Vlad Filat thanked the foreign partners and also Mihai Ghimpu and Marian Lupu, who were interim presidents during this period.
